In the final game of the regular season, McDonogh trashed Gilman 11-6, and will now the MIAA A Conference playoffs as the top-seed.

Entering the game ranked 10th in the DigitalSports National Lacrosse Rankings, McDonogh held an advantage over Maryland rivals, 39th ranked Greyhounds.

The score was tight early on, going into the half tied at three.  Then the Eagles broke out in the third quarter when Robert Clark struck just 28-seconds into the quarter, spurring a six consecutive goal streak lasting until early on in the fourth.

Even though Gilman managed three goals in the final quarter, McDonogh’s lead was too great to overcome, as the Eagles added another pair to their tally.

Clark finished with three goals for McDonogh.  Jack Kemp accompanied Clark with a hat trick of his own.  Robby Black added on two goals and an assist.

This win sends McDonogh straight to the semifinal round next Tuesday at John Hopkins’ Homewood Field.
